        The survey Research Center (SRC) created two digit codes based on the
        1980 Standard Occupational Classification.  These codes were used to code
        the occupation variables in 1995 AHEAD. To protect confidentiality these
        code have been recoded (masked) into the category heading below which is
        included in the codebook.

        numbers in parenthesis in the codebook for masked occupation
        variables.
