HRS 2006 Core (Early, Version 2.0)

The HRS 2006 Core Early Release (Version 2.0) is now available, replacing Version 1.0 released in July.
There were several variables omitted from the Early Release (Version 1.0) data. The omitted variables are from alternate wave questions that were asked only of new respondents in 2006. The affected sections are C_R, F_R, F_SB and J_R. The list of variables by section is below. Please download Version 2.0 of the data to pick up these variables.

The HRS 2006 Core Early Release contains data for 18,469 respondents and 12,605 households. The data collection period for HRS 2006 was March 2006 through February 2007.
Today's release contains data from the core interview. Several additional files will be released over the coming weeks, including sampling weights for the core and certain components, an updated tracker file, and results of blood spot assays (to be released as a health data product).
