New Publication Released: Growing Older in America: The Health and Retirement Study

A new National Institute on Aging data book about the Health and Retirement Study has been released. This document offers a snapshot of research findings on the combined health and economic circumstances of Americans over age 50, and is designed to familiarize a broad range of potential users with this data resource. The document provides information on older adults’ health, work and retirement, income and wealth, and family characteristics and intergenerational transfers.
